The Neal O. Thorpe Memorial Scholarship awards successful applicants $7,500 per year for up to five years who attend one of the eligible universities listed below. The scholarship will be paid directly to the applicant’s university to cover education expenses.
Qualifications:
§ Applicant must be an Alaska resident
§ Applicant must be a graduate of a high school or equivalent program located in Alaska
§ Applicant must be the first in their immediate family to pursue a post-secondary degree
§ Applicant must be enrolled in one of the eligible universities
Application Process:
The scholarship application must be completed through The Alaska Community Foundation’s (ACF) online application system.
