Applications are now being accepted for the 2015/16 UNM Inclusive Excellence Doctoral/Postdoctoral Fellowship Program. The fellowships will be awarded to African American, American Indian or Hispanic doctoral degree recipients whose teaching, research and service contribute to diversity in any academic discipline. Doctoral students in the latter stages of their dissertation completion or recent PhD graduates may apply.

Dependent upon available funding, two (2) awards will be made each year. Postdoctoral fellows will be appointed for one (1) year. The fellowships are designed to enable underrepresented minority PhDs to advance their research agenda and academic portfolio, while contributing to diversity initiatives at the University of New Mexico. Appointees will have a .75 FTE appointment with the Division for Equity and Inclusion and a .25 allowance for research and professional development.

Fellows will receive a stipend of $40,000 per year plus benefits, and research or travel support of $1,000.  The deadline to apply is August 1, 2015.  Please click here for more information.
