The Doyon Foundation journey doesn’t end with graduation! Each month, we feature an update on one of our alumni. This month, we are pleased to highlight Matt Calhoun.

Degree: Civil engineering

Years graduated: 2002 (bachelor’s), 2010 (master’s), 2015 (PhD)

What are you doing now? Matt is an assistant professor of civil engineering at the University of Alaska Anchorage and senior director at the Alaska Native Science & Engineering Program (ANSEP).

Anything else you would like to share? Matt lives in Palmer on a farm with his family. He also serves on the Doyon Foundation board of directors.
