Pearle Annan Green

Administrative Assistant

Pearle, a Doyon, Limited shareholder and former Doyon Foundation scholarship recipient, was raised in Galena, Alaska. She is the youngest daughter of Charlie and Claudette Green of Galena. Her maternal grandparents are Don Lowe of San Bernardino, California, and Carol Demoski Lowe of Ruby and Galena. Her paternal grandparents are Floyd Green of Eugene, Oregon, and Elizabeth “Betty” Johnson Green of Nulato.

Pearle recently earned a bachelor’s degree in Rural Development and Indigenous Studies with a minor in Psychology from Regis University and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Nonprofit Management. She also played NCAA Division II women’s basketball at the University of Alaska Fairbanks and Regis University.

Her diverse work experience includes caregiving, interning with Get Out the Native Vote, refereeing basketball, and working at a small airline in Galena. In the summer of 2024, she co-founded Native Hoops with Destiny Reimers, partnering with Tanana Chiefs Conference and local tribes to offer basketball training sessions combined with a “culture hour” to empower Indigenous youth in rural communities.

Inspired by Doyon Foundation’s mission to preserve and promote Alaska Native heritage, Pearle sought to contribute her skills in community development, networking, and outreach.

In her free time, she enjoys playing basketball, mentoring youth, and spending time with friends and family.
