The Fairbanks Pipeline Training Center Trust (FPTC) is sponsoring an Intro to Heavy Duty Mechanics and Welding training in partnership with Doyon Foundation and Alaska Regional Career & Technical Interior Consortium (ARCTIC).
We are seeking applications from high school students who are Doyon Shareholders or descendants and reside in the rural Doyon Region. Space is limited, and selected applicants will participate in an interview process.

What to Expect:
Students will spend a week at the FPTC dorms while gaining hands-on exposure and learning from union instructors in:
🔧 Heavy duty mechanics
🔥 Welding
⚡ Electrical trades
🔩 Plumbing & pipefitting
🦺 Laborers
🚛 Teamsters
⚙️ UAF Process Technology
Students will also hear directly from a variety of union representatives about career opportunities in the skilled trades and enjoy evening activities in the Fairbanks community.
