Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act (ANCSA) Courses

The Alaska Native & Rural Development department (DANRD) of the College of Rural & Community Development within University of Alaska Fairbanks is pleased to offer distance delivered courses on the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act (ANCSA). In the event that your staff or constituencies may be interested in enrolling for a course on ANCSA, there are two initial versions to meet your need. Please share this information with your corporate community.

The flyer describes a one-credit web based general overview course that can serve as an excellent introduction to the history and development of ANCSA. The flyer also describes a full semester 3 credit course offered by audio-conference for a more indepth analysis of ANCSA and will feature guest presenters such as Willie Hensley, John Borbridge, former U.S. Senator Fred Harris and others that were at the forefront of this historical creation of the land claims act.

A registration form and flyer is listed below. Should you wish any further information or assistance please contact the Fairbanks DANRD office via email at [email protected].
