We are excited to announce our DLO On the Go 2 Contest to celebrate our newly released Doyon Languages Online courses and encourage interested language-learners to sign up! (This contest builds on the success of our original DLO On the Go contest in 2021 – see the list of previous winners!)
For every eligible course completed by May 31, 2024, students can enter to win prizes including an iPad Mini, Samsung Galaxy, and Apple or Google Play gift card! Courses are FREE for all interested students.
To be eligible, students must complete all units in one or more of the following new Doyon Languages Online courses:
- Deg Xinag
- Dihthaad Xt’een Iin Aanděeg’ (Tanacross) (Doyon Languages Online course or course based on the work of Irene Arnold)
- Dinak’i (Upper Kuskokwim)
- Hän
- Iñupiaq
- Nee’aanèegn’ (Upper Tanana) (Doyon Languages Online course or online course based on the work of Avis Sam)
Sign up to access the courses at doyonfoundation.com/dlo. For assistance signing up for or using Doyon Languages Online, view our instructional video series on YouTube.
Then, you’re ready to start learning! Students can access the courses from a desktop or laptop computer, or via the Transparent Language app available for both Apple and Android mobile devices and tablets.
After you complete a course:
- Download your transcripts from Doyon Languages Online following these step-by-step instructions.
- Complete the contest entry form.
If you complete more than one course, you can enter to win more than once!
Complete your course and enter to win by May 31, 2024. We’ll randomly draw three winners from each language to win prizes, including:
- First prize: Apple iPad Mini Wi-Fi + Cellular 256g or Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ (so you can continue your language-learning on the go!)
- Second prize: Apple iPod Touch (only 3 available) or Samsung Galaxy A14 5g (be sure to load Doyon Languages Online so you can learn your language anywhere!)
- Third prize: $100 Apple OR Google Play gift card
All users will receive Doyon Languages Online swag for participating.
