Every year, GVEA in Fairbanks awards eight scholarships for the academic year. Seven are awarded in April at their Annual Meeting, and the eighth is awarded in August. To be eligible for a GVEA scholarship, the applicant or member of the applicant’s immediate family must be a member of Golden Valley Electric Association.
