Native American Public Telecommunications (NAPT) has a three-year internship opening for an undergraduate college student enrolled in a degree program in the media. The intern will work with NAPT staff in various projects that support its mission of sharing Native stories with the world through support of the creation, promotion and distribution of Native media. In addition, the student will be required to attend the Native Nations Media Conference, July 22-24 in St. Paul, Minnesota, and an Emma Bowen Student Conference.

The Emma L. Bowen Foundation was created in 1989 to prepare minority youth for careers in the media industry. Students have an opportunity to learn many aspects of corporate operations and develop company-specific skills. Corporations have an opportunity to train and mentor students with the option of full-time employment upon completion of their college degrees.
