In 2007 the ESA Foundation established a scholarship program (maximum amount $3000) to assist women and minority students who are pursuing degrees leading to careers in Computer & Video Game Arts. This year ESA is pleased to extend this opportunity to graduating high school seniors, doubling the amount of awards granted from 15 to 30.

The scholarships are offered each year for full-time study at accredited four-year colleges and universities. Up to 30 scholarships of $3,000 each will be awarded annually, 15 to graduating high school seniors and 15 to current college students. The number of awards given in each category will be determined by the number of qualified applicants.

Eligibility:

-Minority student or a woman
-Pursuing a degree leading to a career in computer and video game arts.
-Full-time undergraduate student attending an accredited four-year college or university by the upcoming academic year.
-GPA of 2.75 or higher on a 4.0 scale.

This scholarship program is administered by International Scholarship and Tuition Services, Inc. Students will have to submit their high school transcript as well as complete an online application form. Information about financial need, work experience, school involvement, gaming activities and a short statement about the student’s educational and career goals will be needed.
