The Fairbanks North Star Borough School District’s Alaska Native Education Program (ANE) and the Parent Advisory Committee invites you to celebrate our Native students’ achievements!
Cultural Celebration Picnic – “HONORING OUR CULTURAL HERITAGE THROUGH OUR CHILDREN”
Date: Saturday, May 1, 2010 Time: 11:30 am – 2 pm Place: Pioneer Park (Alaskaland) Playground Pavilion in Fairbanks Bring a dish to share and we hope to see you there!!The achievements of students of Alaska Native and American Indian heritage will be recognized during this event by parents, teachers, peers, family relations, friends and anyone who would like to recognize an ANE student. Please identify the ANE student you want recognized and his or her achievements by filling out the form listed below. Samples of achievements can be found on the ANE website http://www.k12northstar.org/alaska-native-education or on the handout listed below. Please return the completed form by April 16, 2010 to the ANE Office, FNSB School District, 520 Fifth Avenue, Fairbanks, AK 99701 or to your student’s school.
