The Alaska Energy Authority, a public corporation of the State of Alaska, is recruiting for a full-time, temporary, summer Intern to help with the Alternative Energy and Energy Efficiency Inventory program. This position is for a college student seeking a Bachelor’s degree, and requires experience in GIS and mapping. Applicant must have an eagerness to learn, a demonstrated ability to work independently, and have an enthusiasm for energy programs in Alaska. This internship is expected to be for the duration of the college summer break; start and end dates are negotiable. Preference will be given to students at Alaskan higher learning institutions and Alaskan students at schools outside the state. The position’s salary is $12-$15 per hour and is located in Anchorage.
