The School of Natural Resources and Agricultural Sciences University of Alaska Fairbanks is looking to hire 6 students (ages 15-18) from the Yukon Flats area to help with ecology research. The project involves looking for non-native plants around Ft. Yukon, Circle, Stevens Village, and Beaver. They will use current technology (GPS, GIS, digital photography) to document and map non-native plants and invasive weeds. Students will also recieve 2 credits in the UAF Tribal Managment Program.
