Doyon Foundation is excited to launch the “Native Word of the Month” on its website. Each month, a new Native word and definition will be shared on the Foundation’s home page (just look under the “what’s new” column on the right-hand side).
The “Native Word of the Month” is just one way the Foundation is striving to live up to its vision and values. One of the Foundation’s vision elements is “Strong Demonstration of Native Traditional Language and Culture” and one of the Foundation’s values is “Traditional Native Values – Tradition, Culture, Language.”
