U.S. Sen. Mark Begich is accepting applications for Fall 2011 student internships in his Fairbanks, Anchorage, Juneau and Washington, DC offices. Interns work in a variety of areas supporting Sen. Begich’s staff including researching Alaska issues, working with legislative staff on congressional issues, helping with constituent cases and inquiries and attending meetings and briefings. Interns are college-age. The goal is to have students work regular office hours, but accommodations can be made to work with class schedules.
Interns are offered a small stipend for their service. The application period ends Wednesday, July 20th.
