The Alyeska Match Scholarship (AM) offers matching financial assistance to Alaska Natives who are interested in seeking college or vocational training that will enable them to work on the Trans-Alaska Pipeline System (TAPS).

Only complete applications can be considered, and awards are based on the availability of funds. Students are required to submit a copy of their Certificate Degree of Indian Blood (CDIB/CIB) from the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA).

All programs are offered for eligible students who have demonstrated need, have met the eligibility requirements, and have complete applications as funding is available at the deadline for application submission. Please review the application and eligibility requirements prior to applying. This scholarship is offered as part of Section 29, in the Grant Right of Way (ROW) federal law. This law recognizes that Alaska Native landowners must be compensated for land use and occupancy by the TAPS to fulfill the ROW agreement.

Eligible to apply: Alaska Natives. Additional eligibility: Students must also be receiving other scholarship awards for matching purposes and attend undergraduate education in specific eligible majors (see application for details).
