Effie Kokrine Early College Charter School (EKCS) is seeking Alaska Native Language Teachers in Gwich’in and Koyukon languages to teach a class in their high school during the 5th period class, 1:53-2:43 – Monday thru Thursday and 12:40-2:06 on Fridays.
There are people who are fluent in the language but teaching is another challenge. EKCS contacted the UAF Native Language Center and they are willing to put on such a language teacher training if EKCS can find people who are willing to teach the language and culture.
