Apply now for a BLaST Undergraduate Research Experience (URE) award!

The BLaST (Biomedical Learning and Student Training) program enhances capacity for undergraduate biomedical research training and efficacy for engaging students from diverse, especially rural Alaskan, backgrounds in education and training for biomedical research careers. BLaST has an award opportunity for the Spring 2016 for undergraduate students interested in Biomedicine, One Health or Subsistence Health. Students are invited to apply for an award of $3,000 (Spring 2016 semester). Students from any UAF or UAS campus and Ilisagvik College are eligible to apply. The application deadline is November 16, 2015 at midnight.

Undergraduate Proposal Writing Workshops are available and designed to assist undergraduate students. Workshops will be offered on October 29th at IARC 401 and November 4th at IARC 417.
