Doyon Foundation announces the opening of the spring 2016 scholarship application period. Monday, November 16, 2015 is the deadline to submit applications online for basic scholarships and for the second portion of competitive awards for the spring 2016 semester. Please note that scholarship applications are only accepted online.
To apply for a spring 2016 basic scholarship or the second half of a 2015-2016 competitive award, students must submit:
- A completed online application form
- Proof of academic enrollment (POE)
- If a new student, POE should show school, degree program and field of study. If returning student, submit upcoming class schedule.
- Most recent official transcripts
- If this is your first application in academic year 2015-2016 OR unofficial transcripts if you previously submitted your official transcript for academic year 2015-2016.
- NOTE: Returning students (students who received a fall 2015 scholarship) have until Tuesday, December 29th, 2015 to submit their transcripts showing final fall grades.
Students should note the following:
- Basic scholarships are $800 for part-time students and $1200 for full-time students. View the scholarship application guidelines on the Foundation website for definitions of part-time and full-time status.
- Competitive recipients who have already received half of their award for fall 2015 are required to fill out an application for the spring 2016 semester in order to receive the second half of their award.
