2017-2018 Erica Keiko Iseri Memorial Scholarship

The purpose of the Erica Keiko Iseri Memorial Scholarship is to provide scholarships to students who are participating in a study abroad and/or international or national exchange program with the University of Alaska Fairbanks.Erica Keiko Iseri of Fairbanks died unexpectedly Sept. 4, 2016. Erica worked in the study away program at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. She has a long affiliation with the university as a teacher and a student.

An inspiration to all who knew her, Erica advised and mentored hundreds of international and national exchange students studying at UAF, and UAF students attending national and international programs around the world. Erica is remembered by a vast network of national and international educators as a caring and supportive colleague, and for her service in professional organizations and with university partners.

Ultimately, she will be remembered as the kindest and most generous of friends, who touched and inspired many lives.

To qualify for this scholarship, a student must:

1-Complete the supplemental application and essay questions.
2-Be a student approved for an international or domestic exchange or study abroad experience.
3-Demonstrate financial need.
