Doyon, Limited continues to seek applicants for a diverse range of paid summer internship positions in the Fairbanks office. Specifically for Doyon shareholders, the strategically designed internship program opens a window into the operations of the Doyon Family of Companies, allowing interns to explore how a career with Doyon might support their life goals. Doyon is proud to have many current full-time employees that previously participated in the program.

Current internship opportunities include:

Administration intern: The Doyon administrative intern will report to the executive assistant to the president/CEO, and provide administrative support to Doyon staff and senior managers as needed. This internship is a great opportunity for someone who wants to gain basic office skills and experience working in a fast-paced corporate setting.

Communications intern: The communications intern will report to the vice president of communications. The intern will work on projects such as creating monthly shareholder newsletter articles, managing the employee intranet, creating corporate advertisements and marketing materials, and assisting as needed to achieve communications goals. A student pursuing a degree in marketing, communications or public relations, and who has Adobe Photoshop and InDesign experience, is preferred.

Get Out the Native Vote (GOTNV) intern: The GOTNV intern will report to the village outreach liaison, and work with Tanana Chiefs Conference and Fairbanks Native Association partner staff to plan, coordinate and manage GOTNV events. The intern will prepare articles and website and social media content, and assist in designing GOTNV marketing materials. This internship is a great opportunity for someone who is campaign-driven and interested in supporting a bi-partisan effort.

IT intern: The Doyon IT intern will report to the IT network administrator. The intern will provide overall assistance and support to the IT department.

These internship opportunities require applicants to be a Doyon shareholder, be a college sophomore or higher, be in good standing, and have a minimum 3.0 GPA.
