Students can now apply for Doyon Foundation scholarships for the fall 2022 semester! Monday, May 16 at 11:59 p.m. AKDT is the deadline to apply for part-time and full-time awards for the fall semester, as well as competitive awards for the 2022 – 2023 academic year.
Students will apply using our recently updated online application system. Please note that students who have not applied using this system will need to create a new account. Account creation can take up to three business days, due to the shareholder verification process, so please start the process early. Watch this short video as we walk students through the account creation and application process.
We will award:
- Competitive awards ranging from $7,000 to $11,000
- $2,400 full-time awards (for undergraduates taking 12 or more credits, or 9 or more credits for graduate students)
- $1,600 part-time awards (for undergraduates taking 3 to 11 credits, or 2 to 8 credits for graduate students)
Competitive award recipients are selected through a competitive review process, while full-time and part-time awards are presented to all students who meet the eligibility guidelines and submit a completed application by the deadline. Full- and part-time awards are given on a first-come, first-served basis, so be sure to apply early. Note that students don’t have to fill out separate applications for competitive, full-time and part-time awards.
To be eligible for a Doyon Foundation scholarship, applicants must:
- Be enrolled to Doyon, Limited or be the child of an original enrollee
- Be accepted to an accredited college, university, technical or vocational school

In addition to the online application, students will need to submit transcripts. Official transcripts must be submitted once every academic year, which runs August through July. However, the deadlines to submit transcripts are different for new vs. returning students.
- Students who DID NOT receive a summer 2022 scholarship are required to submit official transcripts on or before the deadline of May 16, 2022.
- Students who DID receive a summer 2022 scholarship must submit official transcripts on or before August 26, 2022.
