Doyon Foundation is happy to welcome Elizabeth Green, our Morris Thompson executive intern. Elizabeth, from Galena, is the daughter of Charlie and Claudette Green, and the granddaughter of Floyd and Betty Green, and Don and Carol Lowe.

Elizabeth, a Doyon Foundation scholarship recipient, graduated from Sidney C. Huntington School as the salutatorian in 2019. She is currently in her fourth year at the University of Alaska Fairbanks, where she is studying elementary education.

“I want to work at Doyon Foundation because it’s in the education department,” Elizabeth said. “I want to learn about where my scholarships come from, and learn about my corporation.”

As the Morris Thompson executive intern this summer, Elizabeth assists with organizing and planning events, presenting, writing, filing, researching and networking. As part of her internship, she will also participate in Doyon Foundation leadership training.

Outside of work and school, Elizabeth, who has received several sports awards, enjoys playing basketball and being with her family.
