Each month, we feature an update on one of our alumni. This month, we are pleased to highlight Jacob Deater, a 2022 graduate!
Where are you from?
I was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska. My mother is from Chignik Lagoon, Alaska, and my father is from Kodiak, Alaska, with family ties to Holy Cross, Alaska.
Where do you currently live?
I currently live in Wasilla, Alaska.
What is your educational background?
I graduated from the University of Alaska Anchorage (UAA) in May 2022 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting.
What are you doing now?
I’m currently a financial analyst at Bristol Industries, LLC, which is a subsidiary of BBNC and Choggiung.

I would like to thank the donors and the Foundation for all the support throughout my college experience!
