The Alaska Policy Frontiers, Traditional Values and the Modern Native Corporation classes are scheduled for the spring semester. The first meets for three and a half weekends and the latter is a one weekend, one credit course which explores how Alaska Natives have “indigenized” the alien institutions that were provided us to operate. In the past ASRC, Sealaska, Cook Inlet Tribal and Afognak, Inc. have been present.
If there is interest, students can contact Janet Burton at 786-4171 or [email protected] or email Willy Hensley at [email protected] or 786-6348.
