CITC is extending their application deadline to Monday February 29th! CITC is excited to be launching their new Summer Internship Program! They have had great interest from potential applicants and partners!

The internship program is intended to support job creation, build capacity, and provide on-the-job-training and mentorship to our future Alaska Native workforce. The program is a 12-week summer program (May 16-August 5) for college-level students. Interns will be deployed to their respective jobs May 17 after a one-day orientation – an updated internship timeline is provided below.

Along with receiving OJT and mentorship, the interns will have engaging and exciting opportunities to learn about CITC and the community through tours and various activities. CITC will provide support to supervisors and interns throughout the program and interns will be expected to create meaningful learning objectives with their supervisors. As part of their development, interns will be required to give a presentation to CITC management on their experience prior to completion of their internship.

If there is potential for an internship opportunity within your department or organization, please complete the attached CITC Intern Requisition and submit by next Thursday, February 18.
