ANTHC awards ten (10) scholarships of $5000 to Alaska Native or American Indian students who meet the following requirements:

• Permanent Alaska residents
• Interested in working in a healthcare related field • Currently enrolled in a formal education or training program

The scholarship application is open in the Spring of 2016 and may be used for tuition, books, and fees for professional certificate programs or higher education degrees (Associates, Bachelors, Masters and PhDs) for the Fall ’16 through Summer ’17 semesters.

ANTHC grants these scholarships as an integral part of its long-term strategy to increase Alaska Natives and American Indians in the healthcare field.
