Cobell Scholarship (Summer) 2016

The Cobell Scholarship is a non-renewable competitive scholarship that provides one-year of scholarship support to enrolled members (or verified descendents) of US Federally-recognized tribes with strong academic records who can demostrate financial need while pursuing Vocational Certification, Associates, Bachelors, Masters and Doctoral degrees. Applicants will write a short essay each year.
Funding consideration will be given to any fully qualified student whose online application is complete and both required documents are submitted by the stated deadlines found on each document.
The Cobell Scholarship may provide funds for Summer 2016 to:
- Individuals that received Cobell Scholarship funds for the regular 2015-2016 Academic Year and are attending full-time summer courses.
- Individuals attending summer school, full-time, because they are unable to attend the regular academic year.
- Individuals enrolled in cohort-type programs that require full-time summer enrollment
- Individuals requiring summer enrollment to complete a program, full-time (or part-time if graduating at the end of the summer term)
- Individuals engaged in an internship for credit to complete a program
