Denakkanaaga will be held June 7 – 11, 2010 in Tanana this year. Students aged 14-18 are encouraged to apply to be a youth delegate!
Applicants must attach the Youth Delegate application (listed below), an essay and two letters of recommendation. The essay should include the following: 1. How do you believe your elders contribute to a healthy and strong community? 2. As we move forward, why is it important to know the history of our people? 3. In what ways can you make a positive contribution back to your community? Essay should be a page long, 12 pt. font, and double-spaced. Please type or print legibly.
