We are now accepting scholarship applications for summer 2018 using our new online scholarship application! Note that the deadline is Thursday, March 15, 2018.
Basic scholarships available are $800 for part-time students and $1,200 for full-time students. Remember that our basic scholarships are now awarded on a first-come, first-served basis, so be sure to get your application in early.
To be eligible for a Doyon Foundation scholarship, you must:
- Be enrolled to Doyon, Limited or be the child of an original enrollee
- Be accepted to an accredited college, university, technical or vocational school
- Meet our minimum GPA requirements (see our updated scholarship policies and guidelines)
- Be enrolled in the required minimum number of credits (see our updated scholarship policies and guidelines)
If you applied using the previous scholarship portal, you can log in using the same email address and password. If you are a new applicant, you will need to create a new account. Questions? See our step-by-step account creation instructions.
Once you are logged in and you select “apply,” the system will ask for an access code. If you do not already have an access code, please call 907.459.2049 or email us at [email protected] to obtain one.
Here are some important notes about your scholarship application:
- If you are a spring 2018 scholarship recipient, you are considered a returning student and your unofficial transcript is due May 18, 2018. You can email the unofficial transcript to [email protected].
- If you are a NEW Doyon Foundation student for the 2017 – 2018 academic year (which runs August 2017 through May 2018) and you did not receive a scholarship for the spring 2018 term, your official transcript is due by the scholarship deadline, March 15, 2018.
- You will also need to provide proof of academic enrollment as well as a class schedule.
