DEADLINE: September 1, 2010
Leadership Anchorage (LA) is looking for community service project proposals for the 2009-2010 year!
The community service project provides a way for LA to “give back” to Anchorage, and participants provide talented leadership and creativity to our city’s businesses, governmental offices, and nonprofits for projects that may lack the time, labor, or coordination skills to be realized. Past sponsors have said their projects have built organizational effectiveness and boosted outreach to the community not only for the period of the project, but also beyond.
Please keep in mind that these volunteers are our up and coming leaders as well as potential future board members so this is a great opportunity for both your organization and our participants.
Please direct all inquiries regarding community service project proposals to Jim MacKenzie, Deputy Executive Officer, Alaska Humanities Forum Director, Leadership Anchorage Coordinator, Alaska History & Cultural Studies Program, 421 West First Avenue, Suite 300, Anchorage, AK, 99501, Tel: 907-272-5324, Cell: 907-575-8755, Fax: 907-272-3979, Email: [email protected], URL:
